About Louise Knetzger Gallagher, L. Ac., MSTOM
What draws me most to acupuncture is its ability to help patients feel relief; often immediately. Fifteen years ago, I discovered the writings of medical intuitive, Carolyn Myss, which sparked a keen interest in energy healing. I then studied Natural Force Healing with Ken Davis of Davis Advanced Health Systems and received my Reiki Level I and II practitioner certificates with Carol Waiters before pursuing my Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. I recently completed the "Acupuncture and the Cancer Patient" program offered through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital.
I currently practice multiple modalities of Oriental Medicine including: acupuncture, herbal recommendations, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping and tuina. I am an attentive listener and I work closely with each of my patients toward a goal of balancing body, mind and spirit. There are many diseases and conditions for which acupuncture works incredibly well, without the need for surgery and/or pharmaceutical drugs. My aim is to always help each patient achieve optimal health. Particular areas of interest include: support for cancer patient recovery, women's health issues including fertility support and gastro-intestinal disorders.
